Bay gelding 1991 Beloved horse to outlive his owners. The three sisters shared this marvelous horse, they all grew old together but retirement for an old horse most often means euthanasia. Luckly Beau found STAT Sanctuary. He is a ranch favorite although too old to be ridden he is a champion “Carrot Therapy” horse.

Bay Gelding Born 1983 Cowboy is the oldest horse on the property. He was the skinniest horse I had ever seen. The poor guy fell out of the trailer the day he came to STAT in 2010. It took a year to get weight back on him. Now at the ripe old age of 43 he is healthy, happy and looking for that Carrot in your pocket.

Black Mini Horse Gelding 1990 Bob has had many homes in his life. His tiny size made him a favorite gift to the five year old who then grew up and so he got sold to the next loving fam. Like so many older horses he was headed to euthanasia just because he was old. Lucky for Bob he now has his forever home here at STAT.

At STAT we often take in other farm animals like pet ducks that grow up and need proper accommodations. Ducks are not particularly affectionate but they sure are fun to watch! Feeding and caring for them is expensive, so please sponsor today.

This is Mocha one of our little goat residents. She is very sweet, personable and wants to be your best friend. There are over 15 goats at the sanctuary currently. Each goat costs about $50 p/month to feed and care for. We sure need your help, please donate, volunteer or sponsor today.
